Hi ulises69,

I simply read your mail and the proficient replies to it. Here are my thoughts on this as well.

I would recommend downloading their Avidemux AppImage from the link below or from the sleeper12 link and employ that which works in Linux Mint xx. After saving the file, give yourself permission to run information technology and just double-click information technology to run it.

Download Avidemux latest release
https://www.fosshub.com/Avidemux.html

Hope this helps ...

but without success the final result is the same, the programme apparently was installed only when is launched nothing happens.

Run it from a last to run into useful letters (and some non-and then-useful letters!) which aren't shown when launched from a menu:

FWIW, I employ the avidemux appimage; as well FWIW, if you already accept wine installed, the windows version of avidemux runs perfectly.
Edit: actually I have the appimage, merely generally use the windows+wine version; it runs the same speed just looks nicer.

Delight edit your original post title to include [SOLVED] if/when it is solved!

Get-go to thank yous for your kindly reply, As I previously uninstalled Avidemux and boths links bring the same download folio in Sourceforge that permit to download the binaries for the version two,vii of Avidemux, I download this follow the instructions as know:
1.Download the Avidemux 2.vii.6.tar.gz
2.Correct click on the file ,backdrop, run as a programme
3.Doble click the file, and nothing happen again.
So I noted exploring the content of the uncompressed file tar.hz , there is no executable avidemux.exe so is no executable/
Have practise you get did this run Avidemux without executable?

Equally the second ,the terminal answer me like :

Lawmaking: Select all

willy@willy-desktop:~$ avidemux bash: avidemux: orden no encontrada willy@willy-desktop:~$

Then, I really don`t want mess my system with a plan in order to work with another.
I wait for your suggestions/

Take do you get did this run Avidemux without executable?

That file is source code - yous have to compile it, which the hardest mode to install anything. Did you lot carp to read any of the text file in that archive?

You want to download

Code: Select all

                  https://www.fosshub.com/Avidemux.html?dwl=avidemux_2.7.6.appImage

then run that file. Look up "how to run an appimage".

Code: Select all

willy@willy-desktop:~$ avidemux bash: avidemux: orden no encontrada willy@willy-desktop:~$

Non installed.
